NACE as an organisation will promote childbirth education by:

Committing to a leadership role in all aspects of program planning, professional development and training;

Providing of certification to members who meet appropriate criteria;

The National Executive working as consultants on a range of educator issues, including occupational health and safety and salaries;

Supporting research in childbirth education through the activities of its members;

Providing endorsement to external courses that meet NACE criteria.
