Advanced which is granted to a member who meets the requirements for General Educator and at least 3 of the 6 Advanced Educator criteria;

To qualify you must provide photocopied evidence of:

Advanced Criteria

Completion of, or undertaking, certificate/postgraduate studies in Childbirth/ Parenting Education and/or Adult Education

Development of written resources for peers and clients

Development of teaching resources for groups

A contribution to peer development at team meetings or in-services or seminars /workshops/conferences, co-facilitation/mentoring new educators

A contribution to journal articles to Interaction and other relevant journals

An active contribution to NACE Inc. activities with proof of attending, or contributing to, Branch or National meetings

General Criteria

Completion of a short course in Childbirth Education &/or group facilitation skills that you have completed at some stage in your career

At least 30 hours of Childbirth/Parenting Education programs that you have facilitated/taught over the past 2 years

Ongoing professional development pertaining to childbirth/parenting education that you have attended in the past 2 years. This includes seminars, workshops, conferences etc. We require evidence of a minimum of 15 hours per year
