Certification is valid for two (2) years. Once your Certification application is processed, you will receive a certificate stating your level of Certification. The date for renewing your Certification will be noted on your certificate. At each re-certification you can decide which level you apply for, and as such you can work your way up the ‘Certification ladder.’
Who processes my certification?
The National Membership Secretary processes all General Certification applications. Advanced and Trainer applications are then sent by the Membership Secretary to the Further Education Committee (FEC) for processing.
The processing of your General Certification will take approximately 4 – 6 weeks. Processing of Advanced and Trainer Certification may take longer.
What happens if I am unable to provide all the documentation evidence required?
If you are unable to provide all the documentation required supporting your application, and you do not have exceptional circumstances such as maternity leave or ill health, you will be contacted and you may be asked to submit additional documentation before your application
