This program can run a time suited to you. Either as 16 hours ( four hours a day, weekly for four weeks) or 12 hours (Two days). This course offers a number of key strategies needed for effective group and individual education, including; Adult learning principles, Group leadership and group dynamics, Challenging group participants, Icebreakers and activities for inclusion in programs

Pre-requisites for entry into program:

Registered Midwife or Physiotherapist or Independent Childbirth Educator or Child and Family Health Nurse

Qualifications obtained at end of program:

Certificate of completion.

For SESIAHS staff this training is the first step in the Area Certification process for Early Parenting Educators.
