Hi, my name is Dianne Haworth, I live in Launceston in Tasmania, am married with two teenage girls, my day job is as a Lactation Consultant at the local general hospital.  I began as an educator with CEA, Childbirth Education Association about 15 years ago, then when they closed in Launceston I bought all the bits and pieces and kept going on my own.  I now have a private practice doing childbirth education one evening a week and the occasional weekend workshop, as well as home visiting lactation consulting.  I have been a NACE member for about 10 years, helped out with the National Conference when it came down here in 2006, was state president for a few years and have recently taken on the state delegate role.  I thoroughly enjoy working with expectant and new parents, helping them tap into their own untapped knowledge and strengths, encourage them to trust their parenting instincts and enjoy this new phase of their lives.
