WA continues to struggle to attract participation at Branch level. This has brought the Branch to the brink of being dissolved. With the resignation of both our President and Treasurer we are left with a committee of two. We are planning to hold a meeting this coming Friday in the hope that the Membership will attend and agree to take on some of the roles within the committee.

The postponed Education Day to be held this Friday has also been cancelled due to poor numbers. With limited interest from the membership we are being left with no means of maintaining our profile or being an effective means of providing professional development to childbirth educators. It has also limited our ability to raise funds to maintain the Branch. Faced with these realities we may be forced to dissolve the Branch. This should not detract from the hard work Zoe and Natalie put in when assisting to set up the Branch and I wish them well.
