NACE Executive Committee Retreat 2023

The National Allergy Centre of Excellence (NACE) Executive Committee and Management Office convened in Victoria on 23 and 24 November to reflect on the year's progress and plan ahead for 2024.
Professor Kirsten Perrett, Professor Dianne Campbell, Professor Janet Davies and Associate Professor Jennifer Koplin led discussions and progressed plans for key projects underway in each of the four NACE pillars. Highlights included:
Pillar 1: Allergy Research
Updates on the NACE Acute Allergy Registry, ADAPT Peanut OIT program and Insect Stream embedded trial, all due to be launched in 2024.
Pillar 2: Repository and Discovery
NACE BioRepository progress, including working towards build completion of the Minimum Viable Product.
Pillar 3: Evidence and Translation
Living evidence priorities for 2024, including best practice for living evidence collections to be designed to inform and update clinical guidelines.
Pillar 4: Innovation and Training
NACE Postgraduate Scholars will be invited to present at the inaugural NACE Symposium on 16 - 17 May, which will include a Centre for Food Allergy Research and NACE Training Day.
