BBC What in the World

Professor Kirsten Perrett, National Allergy Centre of Excellence Director, has spoken to the BBC's What In The World podcast about why more young people are developing allergies.

Professor Perrett discussed links to both lifestyle and genetics, as well as the potential role vitamin D plays in the developing immune system.

Hear about the VITALITY Trial, out of the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, which is aiming to determine if vitamin D supplementation leads to a reduction in challenge-proven food allergy, and the NACE-led ADAPT OIT Program for peanut allergic infants.
