Pillar 2: BioRepository & Discovery

Harnessing the power of a big data analysis to drive new knowledge

Problem: Australia is a global leader in allergy research, but information and datasets remain fragmented and segregated, making it challenging for experts to consolidate knowledge and reach effective research outcomes.

Solution: The pillar has collaborated with allergy and digital health experts to design the NACE Allergy BioRepository (ALBI). The platform will drive discoveries that lead to better ways to alleviate the growing burden of allergies on the community.

"ALBI is a collaboration between allergy and digital health experts to fuel faster, smarter discoveries. The platform will securely consolidate and integrate allergy data and biospecimens from national NACE-led and endorsed allergy studies."
